ZDO Feather / Craft Bags:

ZDO Bags will last even longer if instead of just pulling open bag, try grasping the bag by pinching the zipper opening and slowly moving your thumb and fingers as if snapping your fingers in the zipper direction. Sliding open the bags this way will eliminate stress on the poly plastic. Do this at least until the zippers get acquainted with opening. The zippers are very strong.

Waxed Polyester:

For longer life, allow leader to dry before storage.
Add floatant to leader if desired.
Here's a secret for you -- Unscented Albolene face cleanser contains the same ingredients as most floatants. Lifetime supply for around $6.00. Works great.

Fluorocarbon:

This stuff is as tough as nails, except for cold weather -- then it cracks.
Add floatant to leader if desired.
