ZDO Feather / Craft Bags:

ZDO Bags will last even longer if instead of just pulling open bag, try grasping the bag by pinching the zipper opening and slowly moving your thumb and fingers as if snapping your fingers in the zipper direction.  Sliding open the bags this way will eliminate stress on the poly plastic.  Do this at least until the zippers get acquainted with opening.  The zippers are very strong.

Knots:

Furled leaders, by nature, use loop-to-loop connections.  Simply loop the fly line loop to the leader butt loop.  When attaching tippet, tie a perfection loop to the end of 4 foot (length is your discretion) tippet material.  Loop-to-loop connection to leader tip loop.

Tippets:

Use about 4 feet of tippet material.  If larger flies / streamers are used, and hinging occurs, try a Bimini twist knotted tippet.  Bimini twist tippets have been a necessity within the saltwater community for awhile now.  These tippets aid with tippet turnover and presentation.  Especially when using larger flies and spinners.  They also help continue the taper when using furled and braided leaders, aiding casting larger flies.  The Bimini twist is a 100% strength knot.
